At normal viewing distance, no. The film is optically clear and follows the case geometry, so brushed surfaces still read as brushed and polished surfaces still throw light the same way. Hold the watch at a sharp angle under a bright light and you may catch the edge line — that's the honest answer, and it's true of every film on the market including ours. What it does not do is fog, haze or dull the finish.
